When to go

To capture the full experience, we suggest planning your detour from June – September. For those seeking a more tranquil journey, consider hitting the road Wednesday to Friday in June. This route is still very pleasant to do in the shoulder months but some stops are only open in June/July.

Since everyone road trips at their own pace it’s difficult to say how long the trip will take you, but they are designed to be a day trip.
