When to go

To experience the full magic of this journey, we suggest exploring between June and September. If you prefer a quieter escape with fewer crowds, your best bet is a mid-week jaunt (Tuesday through Friday) during the shoulder months of June or September.
To enjoy all this route has to offer we recommend doing it Wednesday-Sunday between June 21st and the end of September.

Since everyone road trips at their own pace it’s difficult to say how long the trip will take you, but they are designed to be a day trip.
