Once you purchase your route you’ll receive an email with links to your purchase. Once you create a user name and password you can log in to view your route purchase. If you’ve purchased more then one route with us then you’ll be directed to your route library. Every destination is a secret that gets unveiled one by one as you navigate your adventure!
Each adventure is priced at $50.00. This fee covers your unique digital route itinerary. It includes links for navigation, suggested stops, businesses and road side curiosities. Creating local experiences that remain accessible is central to our mission. Should you choose to pack your own refreshments and meals, the entire journey can be enjoyed for nothing more than the price of your route and gas.

Every route is different and we craft them based on a number of different interests. We want to help connect you with Nova Scotia on an intimate level. We love it when people say, “I’ve lived here my whole life and never knew this was here”, or “I’ve heard about this but I’ve never made it here”. We’re passionate about getting people through the doors of small and rural businesses that make up the fabric of Nova Scotia. You can expect amazingly beautiful natural places, photo Ops, charming cafes, local businesses and artisans to name a few.
Every journey is unique, so we’ve included a “Trip Planning” package in your route purchase with a specific packing list. Beyond that, just bring your vehicle, a smartphone, your wallet, and your sense of adventure!
No, our journeys are entirely self-directed. You’re the captain of your own adventure, following along your digital route at whatever pace feels right. Plus, you get to enjoy the day while moving to the beat of your own soundtrack.
Since everyone road trips at their own pace it’s difficult to say how long the trip will take you. Each route is designed with the intention of being a day trip and has a varied number of stops and types of destinations. Lingering somewhere you’re enjoying is encouraged. You can always choose to complete your journey another day.
No, however, we strongly recommend checking the links in your route itinerary to confirm the operating hours of each suggested stop. The time you arrive at your destination largely plays into stops being open. Keep in mind that due to the nature of small businesses sudden closure of a suggested stop is beyond our control.
You can tackle these routes solo, as a couple, or with a whole crew! We think the magic happens best when everyone is together in one vehicle, sharing the same adventure.
Plenty of our locations welcome pups on a leash! However, please keep in mind that some businesses have strict no-pet policies, so you may need to bypass certain stops. Just a heads up that our Wander Round Routes are not currently designed for our four-legged friends.
While many destinations are family-friendly, their appeal often hinges on what your kids are interested in. Beach hops are your best bet for now. Keep your eyes peeled, we’ll be crafting new adventures specifically designed for families to enjoy together!

While the majority of our destinations are fully accessible, we make sure to provide specific details within your itinerary and route description. Should a certain journey present accessibility challenges, we’ll be sure to highlight that in the route overview before you make your purchase.
You’re in complete control of when you go. Feel free to hit the road the moment you finish your purchase, or save the excitement for a later date. Your digital route link is yours to keep and won’t expire, giving you the flexibility to head out whenever the mood strikes. We’ve included a when to go suggestion in the route overview and your “Trip Planning” package. We provide these recommendations to ensure that local spots are open and ready to welcome you during your visit. If you’re the type of traveler who loves an off-season adventure, you can still dive into our routes and have a blast! While some seasonal spots may be closed for the winter, we recommend hitting the road between Wednesday and Friday to ensure you can get through the doors of as many local businesses as possible. We will clearly indicate in the route overview if a particular trip is only available during a specific season
Not at all. Everything about your journey is your decision. While we think you’ll enjoy most suggestions we can appreciate that some stops might not be your thing. Please only do the things that excite you or bring you joy. If a suggestion looks unsafe please avoid doing it and contact us so we can investigate. Your safety should always be top priority.
